Powers : Destruction and Rebirth, able to sense approaching darkness, Prophetic dreams occasionally, Healing powers (these fallow her into her civilian form but she tiers out after using them), she has the power to destroy the earth if the need were to arise, she carries the silence glaive.







Physical Description : When in her Civilian form she stands at an exact 5' and weighs 120 lbs. She has black hair that she has started letting grow out. She has burn scares on her legs that she always keep covered so as not to be seen. She has purple eyes that have a soft quality paired with a mischievous spark.




In her senshi form her hair stays the same length and she stays at the same height and weight. Her purple eyes gain a hard and extremely cold edge that tends to scare most away yet her eyes are not always hard and cold sometimes they will have a as others would say haunting edge to them.

History :

Hotaru was born on January 6 to parents Shouichi and Keiko Tomoe. Her childhood was great or so it had been until their had been a fire in her fathers lab. She and her mother had been their the day the fire had happened. Keiko was killed in the fire and Hotaru had breathed in a great amount of smoke and her legs had been burned badly Hotaru at this time was no more than 6 years old. Her lungs were filled with so much smoke that her father was not sure she would live and he went into an emotional crisis. When the death busters had come to him telling him that they could save little Hotaru but he had to do something for them he readily agree. This would shape most of Hotaru's life since both father and daughter ended up possessed. Hotaru when she started school would miss a lot because her lungs had been badly damaged by the smoke. Because of this She had a lot of trouble with breathing and could not take part in gym class. Hotaru at this point was attending Mugan Academy.




When Hotaru first appeared in the Anime she had been sitting in the park reading when she heard a girl yelling for someone to catch her hat. The Black haired girl quickly stood up and chased after the hat catching it. When she handed the girl the hat she had fallen to the ground out of breath. The girl asked if Hotaru was OK to which Hotaru said she was. She soon learned this girl was Rini and had been invited to join Rini and the inner senshi in the park. She soon noticed that Rini had scraped her knee and healed the scratch for her. Soon the two girls had joined the inners and when they were getting ready to eat lunch a daimon came out and attacked. When Mimet discovered she could not beat the senshi she made the daimon go after Hotaru. Her powers lashed out dealing a lot of damage the daimon.




Later on it was discovered Hotaru was the messiah of silence. When the battle started at mugen professor Tomoe used Rini's pure heart crystal to awaken mistress 9 the evil entity that had possessed Hotaru when she was 6. thus started an inner battle between mistress 9 and sailor Saturn. Mistress 9 won this internal battle for the time and managed to get her hands on the grail destroying it and calling forth the silence. It was soon after that Hotaru broke free and also awakened as Sailor Saturn due to the pleading of her father to come back. Her father died here and Saturn jumped into battle with Mistress 9 a battle in which Sailor Moon joined. After the battle was over she was returned to the form of an infant. With both of her parents being dead she was taken in and adopted by the other three outer senshi.




When the battle against Galaxia and Nehelenia she was aged to 6 years old during the battle against Nehelenia and joined in the battle to save the day. It was later on that she completely awoke as Saturn this time aging to the age of 13. she warned the outers of danger to their princess and the inners. She was not in on most of the battles and didn't join the fight until they went after Galaxia. She was killed along side Pluto by Uranus and Neptune who for a time had defected to galaxia. She was not seen again until after Eternal Sailor Moon won the battle being brought back once more but she stayed as a 13 year old.




Since the final battle with Galaxia Hotaru has taken to spending most of her time at home with her parents. She has entered her freshman year of high school and is keeping an A average. She has made a few friends at school but for the most part keeps to herself. She has been Helping Serena with what she can when it comes to the fast approaching wedding. She has also discovered a love for drawing and has been busy trying to get Michelle to teach her how to play the violin. She has also been bugging Amara to teach her how to play the piano as well as drive.




Unfortunately the peace was not to last. Hotaru had been sensing a darkness coming towards them for a few months. On the day of Darian and Serena's wedding she had the for-site to take her henshin wand with her and hid it in her purse where she would have easy access to it. When Diamond attacked she was able to get her henshin wand and pull a quick transformation unfortunately before she had a chance to do much of anything they were informed that any one tried to do anything to stop them he would kill an unborn Rini as Serena was pregnant at this time causing Hotaru to step back. Since she wasn't able to do much to stop Serena's kidnapping and hadn't told anyone else of the feeling she had been having she started blaming the whole mess on herself. This is what will later cause the darker part of her personality to emerge and make it's self known.

Habits : When bored Hotaru will start to figit in her seat, or play with the hem of her skirt or shirt. She will tap her leg when nervous or scared. When happy she will actually go into the kitchen and bake cookies. When angry she has this habit of drawing or she will go out and train.



Pet Peeves : people being late for just about anything. People causing her to be late for something. People who don't take anything seriously, Being reminded of what happened at Serena and Darian's wedding.

Personality Traits :

Willing to help anyone- Hotaru is always willing to help anyone in trouble or in pain in any way she can.




Caring- she cares for just about anyone and would have their back if they needed her to.




Stubborn- she is extremely stubborn and will keep trying something until she gets it. When arguing with someone about something she will keep at it until she has won.




Self conscious- she feels self conscious most of the time the scares on her legs are the main cause of this which causes her to wear leggings or tights under her skirts so no one can see her legs which in turn keeps them from seeing the scars on her legs.




Serious- she has a serious side that is often seen when transformed into Sailor Saturn but is also seen at other times like when she's doing her school work or her homework.




Mature- Since the fight with Galaxia, Hotaru has started acting more mature than someone her age should.




Creative- Hotaru has found the creative side of her personality and can normally be found in different parts of the house doodling or full out drawing. She has started creating and writing her own stories and can be quit secretive with them while she is writing not letting anyone see her work until it's done.




Darker side- since the kidnapping of Serena she has discovered a darker side of her personality she at this point would do anything to win the war including dropping the silence glaive.
