This is pretty self explanatory but I thought I would put it up anyway in case anyone had any questions when it came to posting order when you have 3 or more people posting in the same thread. In the past on other sites we have had problems with people posting so much that another persons post will get lost and characters get left behind and eventually weeded out because two people become really aggressive posters and don't wait for others to reply. To avoid this we came up with a system:
Character 1
Character 2
Character 3
Character 1
and so on, see, pretty self explanatory. This is just to make sure everyone can get involved with whats going on in the thread, and, there will be exceptions to this rule..example: Say one character(s) leaves a thread and comes back a another time, obviously you wont have to sit there and wait for that person to return to post but once they do you will have to go back to your previous posting rotation. Just so long as you just communicate with the member who is role playing that character to make sure you are all on the same page when it comes to who post what and when there shouldn't be any problems.
-------------
There are other Special and Specific posting order situations, as well, in Key Plot Boards. As was the case in The Golden Awakening, sometimes the plot is driven by a character that has control over the situation, while other characters are reacting. In cases such as those, the posting order isn't as rigid as the order listed above. There, so long as everyone has posted between Key Character postings, you're good. For example:
Key Character
2
3
4
5
Key Character
4
3
2
5
Key Character
....
Is just fine; again, the goal here is to keep the story moving and not leave anyone behind. If your board has an odd posting order, you could mention it in a spoiler OOC tag.
