Powers : Abililty to physically mature at will, both backwards and forwards in development. He can levitate and teleport by tapping into the power of the Dark Crystal, and can imbue himself with strength and speed. Has an innate ability to win people over to his side and make them want to defend him.


Physical Description : Pyrite’s strengths and abilities hinge on people trusting him and defending him, and his appearance aides him immensely in this. No matter what age, his skin is always creamy, always free of markings; He has light cornflower-blue eyes and a layered haircut, his hair-tones in the dirty-blonde range, darker near the roots but shining golden blonde on top. He has a perpetual mischievous look about him, but can make his features fall into various emotions for his benefit.
He has three most common ages – a young child of his true age: 5, wherein he is around 3’5” tall; a somewhat gangly teenager of 16, tall, open-faced and charming; and a young adult, approximately 22 years old and nearly irresistible.

Uniform : Pyrite’s Dark Moon attire is more similar to Diamond’s and Sapphire’s than to Rubeus’s; He wears white pants and shoes beneath a long-sleeved dusty-golden jacket with a high neckline. Just as with Diamond’s jacket, an abstract image is reflected across the breast of Pyrite’s garb, stitched in white thread.

History : Pyrite awoke as a very young child shortly after the revival of the Dark Moon Clan. Confused and frightened, he was approached by Prince Diamond, who told him not to worry, and placed a hand on his head. Ever since he’s had a touch of gold in his hair and powers that he can’t explain, and has been blessed enough to have some sort of affectionate place in the Prince’s heart. Enough, in any case, that the Prince has forbade anyone in the clan from harming him. Throughout their years of waiting for the “right time”, Pyrite has lived in the Dark Crystal Palace, pulling pranks and following his “big brothers” around, Sapphire and Rubeus in particular, as Diamond was usually too busy to really see him.
But more and more recently as of late, Rubeus has been heading to Earth with increasing frequency, leaving him alone back at the palace with Sapphire (who is fun but, let’s face it, he’s no Rubeus). Before long, he figures out his own way to this Earth, and he wants to figure out what’s so darn good about it. He wants to investigate about the ‘sailor scouts’ everyone talked about with such fury, the planet itself, with its flowers and fields, and also that ‘Queen Serenity’ that everyone said Diamond liked.

Other : Pyrite is tied to Diamond in a special way, and Diamond will not let him be harmed by anyone. This relationship will be revealed as the story progresses.

Personality Traits : Pyrite’s main concern is himself. Despite the ties he holds to his family, the Black Moon Clan, he tends to act only in his best interests, which usually revolves around keeping himself amused. Such activities he enjoys are playing pranks and being intentionally annoying to get reactions out of people – especially Ruby and Emerald. He’s a touch on the spoiled side, probably brought about by Diamond’s overarching protection of whatever he does. Whenever he gets in too much trouble, he’s brought before Diamond, which is more a treat for him than a punishment, no matter what their Prince decides to be the consequence for his actions.
His overall attitude lets him get along well with Rubeus, and he admires Sapphire for his wealth of knowledge and odd facts about everything. He likes to play with Dot, and considers it his mission in life to see how far he can push Ruby before he has to teleport away to safety; teleportation is second nature to him, despite the strange feeling he gets when he activates the Dark Crystal, and the only thing he’s more natural at is age-shifting.
