Peridot of the Black Moon

Powers :
Dot can control plants and uses a vine rope/whip as her primary weapon. Also, because of the dark crystal she is able to teleport and levitate and her attacks can be powered up by the power of the dark crystal.


Physical Description :
Peridot looks and acts like a teenager (her real age is unknown) of about average height coming in around 5'6” with bright green eyes and tan skin. She is what some people call 'alternative' and 'punk' with her attitude and style of dress, her hair (which is always in two pigtails that are braided) is green (Dark brown when in civilian form and shes a little more creative with her hairstyles) with dark green streaks with two little green ribbons even when in civilian form. Upon coming to Earth she feel in love with our culture (espically the alternative rock culture) and has submersed herself into it. She is always in green and loves converse and wearing stripes of some kind and usually she can be found listening to her iPod with large headphones.

Even after the take over she likes to go out into the world in her civilian form...its a nice way to escape and seperate herself from the rest of the Black Moon

Uniform :
Peridot's uniform is made of a green dress which is covered in tiny periodt gemstones. She wears striped fingerless gloves of the same green and a darker green color, leggings that come about to her knees and flat shoes. Here's a little picture of what it would look like.

History :
Growing up Peridot like most people on Nemesis had no family but unlike those other people she did not let that turn her bitter, instead she used that to become strong and self sufficient. It was that attitude that brought her to the Princes court. Becoming a servant to the prince seemed like a good way to get off of the planet and establish herself in ways others couldn't and she accepted the power of the dark crystal. Despite her young age Dot proved herself to be a force and gained a place to the mission to conquer Crystal Tokyo. Sadly, her mission was short lived and she was killed by the Sailor Scouts during the first raid.

When Prince Diamond reawakened he resurrected her and Peridot was more than willing to take another chance at destroying the White Moon, but, the longer they waited for the right time to strike and the longer she was around the people and everything they have to offer Dot started having second thoughts. As the time for the Princes plans comes closer and closer to being carried out Dot finds herself more and more conflicted. She still carries out orders and missions but finds herself easily distracted by the people and she is certain that with time her loyalty may change.


After a few chance meetings with the Senshi of plants and lightning Peridot began to form a friendship with her, so much so that she was invited to the wedding and other wedding festivities that are only reserved for those close to the bride. This was the first time Dot had ever felt anything close to friendship and as the day of the wedding drew closer she found herself being more and more conflicted. When the day finally came Dotty found herself just standing back and watching as her 'family' ruined these peoples lives and while the others rejoice and celebrate Peridot is planning on how she can help those of the White Moon and put a end of Diamonds reign.

Other :
At some point, Peridot is going to leave the ranks of the Black Moon and attempt to join with the Senshi to try to fix the wrongs she helped do.

Personality Traits :
Dotty is a rather happy, bubbly girl considering her past and current situation. She is much more concerned about acting like a teenager than doing anything else. She was never granted that before being reborn and she sees this as her second chance and she is jumping at it. Peridot has found a love for Earth and its people, especially the rock and alternative cultures most young people seem to have adopted and she has fully thrown herself into it from the clothes she wears to the music she listens too and even to her personality.

She hates being alone, from a young age she was always on her own and had no one to care for her so to make up for that fear Dotty loves to surround herself with people and when people aren't around (like say when shes alone in her room) she surrounds herself with stuffed animals. She believes that part of the reason she loves Earth is because of the sheer number of people that live there and she fears that if Diamond gets his way he will destroy it and leave only him and the queen. Also, another reason she loves the planet is because of all the trees and foliage, something that they never had on Nemesis. It speaks to her power and it makes her feel like shes at home.

Peridot doesn't really want to take over the Earth, after finding all these things that she loves here she doesn't see why they just don't go to Sailor Moon for help instead of trying to take over. She wishes at times that Diamond never found her, at least that way she wouldn't owe him any loyalty and as the Black Princes plans progress Peridot has a feeling that she wont be a part of them for very long.

After having gotten so close to Lita, forming a friendship with her Dot feels horrible about what Diamond and herself has done and wants to set things right. She plans on seeking out the Senshi and offering them her help and knowledge to help them get their princess back.
